4.3 MENU-OPERATED FUNCTIONES:
General:
•
You open the menu by pressing the
MENU
button.
•
Use or to select the desired menu and then press
the
SELECT
button.
•
Use or to select the desired option and then
press the
SELECT
button.
•
Finally press the
SELECT
button to save your setting
and press the
VIEW
button to close the menu (or wait
until the parent unit closes the menu automatically
after approximately 15 seconds). You can also use the
or button to select the option and then press
the
SELECT
button to close the menu.
Brightness:
1. Press the
MENU
button and use the or button to
scroll to the
option.
2. Press the
SELECT
button and use the or button
to decrease or increase the brightness.
3. Press the
SELECT
button to save your setting and
press the
VIEW
button to close the menu.
See chapter 4.4 about automatically reducing the
brightness when the parent unit is powered only by
the battery.
VOX (automatically switching on/off):
When the baby is sleeping quietly and the baby unit is not
detecting any sound, you may have the display and sound
of the parent unit switch off automatically and switch back
on again as soon as the baby starts making noise.
You may set the sound level for switching the display and
sound back on as follows:
1. Press the
MENU
button and use the or button to
scroll to the
option.
2. Press the
SELECT
button and use the or button
to decrease or increase the sensitivity.
• 1 to 4 blue bars: the more blue bars, the higher the
sensitivity. Some trial and error may be required to
find the most suitable setting.
• 5 blue bars: the VOX function is disabled and the
display and sound are always enabled
3. Press the
SELECT
button to save your setting and
press the
VIEW
button to close the menu.
