To recharge:
The battery starts charging as soon as you connect the
parent unit to the power adaptor and insert this adaptor into
a 230V wall socket.
•
Before the first use, charge the battery use for at least
15 hours, even when the unit indicates that the battery
is fully charged.
•
The charging circuit of the battery is controlled elec-
tronically, there’s no risk of overcharging.
•
However, if you don’t use the set for a longer period of
time (>2 months), we recommend you to remove the
adaptor from the wall socket and take out the battery
from the parent unit. When using the set again, first
properly charge the battery.
•
You may recharge the battery with the parent unit both
switched on and switched off. However, the battery
recharges quicker with the parent unit switched off.
Battery indicator: (only when the parent unit is switched off)

The upper right part of the display indicates the battery
status (see also the next chapter)
•
: this symbol appears large and in the middle of the
display several seconds per minute during the last 5 to
10 minutes before the battery is exhausted while the
unit is also emitting alert tones.
indicator on the parent unit:
•
flashing red: battery almost empty
•
constant red: battery being charged or kept fully
charged

indicates that the infra-red night lighting at the camera
is enabled (switches on automatically when it starts to get
