starting
the
machine

Tighten
the
hex
nut
(F)
and
secure
it
with
a
second
hex
nut
(G).
Assembly

out
the
power
plug
before
carrying
out
any
maintenance
or
conversion
work
on the
scroll
saw.
Mounting
the
saw
blade
guard
and
the
blow-off
device
(Fig. 6/7/8)

Remove the
bracket
(22)
from
the
retaining
device
(21)
with
a
phillips
screwdriver
(not
included)
+
Mount the
retaining
device
(21)
to
the
holder
(4)
and
lockit
with
the
knurled
screw
(3).
Attach
the
bracket
(22)to
the
retaining
device
(21)
with
a
phillips
screwdriver
(not
included).
Close
the
saw
blade
guard
(5).
+
Mount the
blow-off
device
(1)
to
the
connection
for blow-off
device
(2)
as
shown in
Figure
8.
Mounting/Changing
the
saw
blade
A
Important!
To
avoid
injuries
attributed
to
inadvertent
startup:
Always
move
the
ON/OFF switch
(16)
to
the
“0”
position
and
disconnect
the
power
plug
out
of the
socket
outlet
before
removing
or
changing
the
saw
blade.
Inserting
saw
blades
with
pin (Fig.
1/9/
10/11/12)
The
teeth
of the
saw
blade
(26)
must
always
point
downwards.
1.
Release the
tension
by
lifting
the
tightening
lever
(11) upwards.
If
required,
fur-
ther
reduce
the
tension
by
turning
it
anti-clockwise.
2.
Remove
the
table
insert
(7).
3.
Push
one
end
of
the
saw
blade
(26) through
the
hole
in the
table,
and
guide
the
pins
of the
saw
blade
(26) into
the
corresponding
slot
in
the
lower
saw
blade
holder
(I).
4.
Slightly
press
down
the
upper
saw
blade holder
(I).
Assemble
the
saw
blade
(26)
to
the
upper
saw
blade
holder
(I).
6.
Tighten
the
saw
blade
(26)
with
the
tightening
lever
(11) by pressing
it
down
again.
Check the
tension
of the
saw
blade
(26).
If
the
tension
is insufficient,
it
can
beincreased
by
turning
the
lever
clockwise.
First
release
the
tightening
lever
(11).
7.
Mount the
table
insert
(7) again.
