Electric Impact Shredder – GLEKS 2440

General information

–   Damage/Injury caused by not assembling the impact 

shredder correctly in line with the instructions.

–   Damage/Injury caused by trying to fit material which is 

too large, into the loading tunnel inlet which could jam 

the blade in the machine, or the material may then be 

catapulted away. 

–   Damage/Injury caused by feeding long pieces of material 

into the tunnel inlet which might whiplash if the material is 

still projecting out of the tunnel inlet as it is drawn into the 

machine.

–   Lung damage if no suitable protective dust mask is used.
–  Damage to hearing if no suitable ear protection is used.
–   Health damage caused by hand-arm vibrations if the 

equipment is used over a prolonged period.
