Forward
Forward is the normal operating mode. The material is pulled in
and shredded. When switched to this operating mode, the ON

is fixed (continuous operation).
Reverse
Reverse is used to clear jammed material out of the device.
When switched to this operating mode, the ON switch

is not
fixed (no continuous operation).
Overload protection with restart lockout
The device is equipped with overload protection. If the motor is overloaded (e.g.,
branches that are too thick or wood that is too hard is/are inserted into the hopper),
the overload protection is activated.
- When the overload protection is activated, the standby LED
13
goes off.
- The device is automatically switched off and cannot be switched on again.
When the overload protection has been activated, you must reset the overload
protection (see section "Resetting the overload protection").
Resetting overload protection
After a switch-off due to overload, the device does not automatically switch on
again.
1. Wait one to two minutes.
2. Press the overload protection switch
