-  Not for space heating.
-  Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow 

to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before clean-
ing the appliance.

-  To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appli-

ance in water or other liquids.

-  Should the device accidentally have dropped into water, first, 

unplug the plug and then remove the device from the water! 
You should subsequently refrain from operating the device, 
and instead have it inspected by a certified service company. 
This also applies if the electric cord or the device is damaged 
or if the device was dropped. Electrical shock hazard!

-  Never open the device and never try to reach inside with metal 

objects. Electrical shock hazard!

-  Electrical devices aren’t children’s toys! For this reason, the 

device should be used and stored out of children‘s reach. 
Children do not recognize the hazards that arise when using 
electrical devices.

-  Repairs may only be carried out by certified specialized repair 

shops. Non-expertly repaired devices pose a risk for the user.

-  Only connect the device to a properly installed grounded pow-

er outlet with a mains voltage according to type plate. 

-  Do not leave the device without supervision during operation 

to avoid accidents.

-  When the device‘s power supply cable cable is damaged it 

must be replaced by the manufacturer or its AFTER SALES 
SUPPORT or a similarly qualified person to avoid any risk of 
injury, etc. 

-  Only use original equipment and accessories. When using 

non-original accessories, the risk of accidents increases. Any 
liability is void in case of accidents or damage resulting from 
the use of non-original manufacturer accessories. Any device 
damage resulting from the use of non-original manufacturer 
accessories voids any warranty claim. 

 

Safety

SAFEGUARDS FOR STEAM MOP

-  Never point the steam exit opening at people or pets and nev-

er at electrical devices (e.g. fan heaters or electrical heaters). 

-  The steam mop must not be left without supervision while 

connected to the power supply.

-  Do not operate the steam mop if the housing shows visible 

damage or if the power cord is defective or if you suspect an 
invisible defect (e.g. after a drop) or if the device leaks. Do not 
carry the device by the power cord. Do not pull on the power 
cord when you disconnect the device plug from the power 
supply connection.

-  Switch the device off and disconnect it from the power sup-

ply before attempting any cleaning, maintenance, attaching or 
removing accessories. Let the device and all accessory parts 
cool down to room temperature before attempting any clean-
ing or maintenance and before you remove or attach any ac-
cessories.

-  Only operate the device with the fabric cover installed.
-  Do not expose the device to rain, frost or heat of any type.
-  Do not use any defective accessories.
-  Please ensure that the power cord does not become a tripping 

hazard.

-  Do not cover the device during operation.
-  Please ensure that device openings are not blocked or clogged.
-  Caution! Hot steam emitting from the device! Risk of injury!
-  Be especially careful when cleaning steps on stairs. Risk of 

falling!

-  After cleaning, the floor or the cleaned surface will be moist. 

You should only step on the cleaned surface once it has fully 
dried. Slipping hazard!

-  Ensure that the water tank fill level does not exceed the “MAX” 

mark.

-  Only use the device with a properly inserted and filled water 

tank. Only add clean and clear water to the water tank. Never 
use any additives such as detergents, etc.
