Serial Port: RS-232C Programming Connector
For convenience of rack wiring, these signals are duplicated on the rear DB-37
connector. This eliminates the need for separate cabling in rack mount installations.
Only one serial connection should be attached at a time.
A serial cable is
provided with each MP3
Audio Machine.
This input is a standard DB-9 male RS-232C connector, intended to be connected to
a PC using a straight-through (
not null-modem
) 9-pin cable. Usually this connector
is used only during programming, and not once the unit is permanently installed. The
pinout appears below.
