4. De-register a handset
Use one handset to de-register another. You cannot de-register the handset
that you are using.
1. Press

3. Enter the 4 digit PIN code (default = 0000) and press
Menu/Ok

4. Enter the handset number that you want to de-register. You will hear a
confirmation beep and the display will return to the previous menu.

No dial tone
. Use only the telephone line cord supplied.
. Check that the telephone line cord is connected properly.
. Check that the mains power is connected properly and switched on.
No display
. Check that the batteries are inserted correctly and fully charged. Use only
approved rechargeable batteries supplied.
. Check that the handset is switched on. Press and hold
Talk/End
.
. Reset the base by removing the batteries and disconnecting the mains
power. Wait for around 15 seconds before connecting it again. Allow up to
one minute for the handset and base to synchronize.

. Handset is out of range. Move closer to the base.
. Make sure that the handset is registered to the base, see page 28.
. Check that the mains power is connected properly and switched on.
Keypad does not seem to work
. Check that the keypad lock is not on, see page 16.
