Power Amplifier comes with an IEC mains lead fitted with the relevant plug type for the country of
use. If there is any need to change this then follows the relevant instructions for the plug type used.
There is an external replaceable fuse on the rear of the unit: refer to specifications for fuse value. Never replace with
a different value.
Be sure that your system is switched off whilst connecting / disconnecting any leads.

Please note that we do not supply interconnect leads as most people like to choose their own. Unbalance (RCA)
leads should not be more than 3 metres long, and balance (XLR) leads can be any length.
Normal Stereo Configuration (Using one Product

Power Amplifier can be used in stereo mode with any model of pre-amp, although we recommend the
Product

Per Amplifier for optimum performance. The connection can be done in either through unbalance RCA or
balanced XLR connection. The cables should connect the Product
8
Power Amplifier ‘preamp input’ with the
‘preamp output’ on the Pre amplifier.
Bridged Stereo Configuration (Using Two Product 8 Power Amplifiers)

Power Amplifier can be in bridged mode when connect a Product
8
Pre Amplifier . This is done by
connecting a XLR or RCA cable through one of the channel on the Product
8
Pre Amplifier ‘preamp output’ to the
bridged ‘preamp input’ on one of the Product
8
Power Amplifier. Do the same on the other channel.
Note that there is a bridging switch on the back of the Product
8
Power Amplifier. By pressing this switch, you are
toggling between RCA and XLR connection.

The Product

Power Amplifier is a class A/B type device, and as such it will need to dissipate a little heat. It should
therefore be placed on a flat surface with free space all around. Under no circumstances must the unit become
covered as this may result in the unit overheating.
If you are bridging two Product
8
Power Amplifiers do not stack them.
