Location Signal:

 this menu allows activation and configuration of the location audio signal 

(LAS) feature of the phone. The LAS is triggered by the handset if the menu is activated on 

the handset. LAS allows the handset to generate audio signal when an alarm was triggered 

by handset user. It sends back LAS activation to the handset (if configured in alarm server). 

The First Aid team is able then to locate handset rapidly as LAS creates an audio signal in 

handset loudspeaker. 

 

Alarm ack (on screenacknow. / Alarm with ack):

 this parameter allows the administrator 

to require or not an on screen acknowledgement or an alarm acknowledgement. 

Location & Events:  

The

 Wireless Handset is able to send regular information or event triggered to an Alarm server. 

 

Status/Live

: this parameter allows you to activate or deactivate the live calls, status calls. 

 

Alarm mode:

 this parameter allows you to select Enterprise or Office mode.  

 

Key event

: Key event calls are also initiated by users when pressing particular keys on the 

numeric keypad.  

 

Smart beacon

: this parameter defines if an event is sent to the server when the user enters 

in a Beacon area. 

 

Notification server:

 these parameters allow you to enter access prefixes to manage access 

to the interface used by the alarm server. First enter the main access prefix then enter a 

second or backup prefix if necessary. These parameters relate to normal, urgent and very 

urgent alarms as well as automatic Handsfree mode and server identification check. The 

server configuration is made once and applies to all features. 

 

Live delay:

 this parameter allows you to enter the time between two signal messages sent 

by the handset.  

 

Notification ring

: this menu allows association of ring tones and volumes to alarm levels 

sent by the alarm server (normal, urgent, very urgent). 

 

Coverage warning: 

this menu allows activate an alarm (popup) when the phone goes out of 

the coverage area. 

 

Preferred location:

 this parameter allows defines the preferred mode for location (DECT or 

Beacon). 

 

Reset settings:

 this feature allows resetting of all alarm parameters. 

 

New alarm password:

 this feature allows definition of a new alarm password to access the 

alarm settings menu.
