3. INSTALLATION
The drawings in the ANNEX show how to perform the assembly and the
standard connections.
3.1 Placing of 75
Ω
load
Except the TEST output of the PA amplifier, verify that the remaining unused
inputs and outputs are loaded with an RS-275 (cod. 9120011) load of 75
Ω .
3.2 Power supply to preamplifiers
Transmodulator TO can supply power to preamplifiers through its input. For
this purpose, just connect the preamplifier output to the transmodulator
input. If you connect an antenna having no preamplifier, this will be
detected by the transmodulator TO that will automatically disable the power
supply.

3.3 Output channels
The vestigial sideband modulator BLV included in the trasmodulators
enables the use of adjacent channels.
RF output channels that are adjacent to each other or adjacent to the earth
TV channels from legal re-emitters (both lower and higher channels) can be
programmed.
If the installation includes external units that use double sideband
modulators, the channels immediately below the ones used by those units
must be free.
