13. Senior Mode
The “Senior Mode” simplifies the operation of the Albrecht
DR 86 radio. In Senior Mode an incorrect operation of the
radio is virtually impossible, because almost all options/
buttons are disabled. Unintentional radio adjustments are
no longer possible.
In this mode only the following functions are enabled:
• On/off switching
• Volume control
• Favorite stations (number buttons 1-5)
To activate the Senior Mode, open the main menu with the MENU button and select the Senior
mode . Confirm the activation and a lock icon will appear on the display. To disable the mode,
long press the number buttons 1 until the message “To continue unlock, press and hold 3” appears.
Then long press the number button 3 until the radio is unlocked.
Attention! Please note that only the 5 saved favorite stations are available when the senior
mode is enabled. Other stations or playback modes can no longer be used. Therefore, make
sure you save any desired stations to the favorites in advance.
