• The PDS3000C01 module and the mounting frame should always be
installed, maintained, operated and removed by personnel with sufficient
technical qualifications. The equipment should never be placed in damp
areas, near splashing liquid, or in explosive or corrosive atmospheres.
Neither modules nor mounting frames can be used in applications that
could endanger human life.
3.3. Environmental considerations
This symbol indicates that this equipment must be deposited at a collection
point for proper waste treatment once it has reached the end of its useful
life.
3.4. Power considerations
The UR3000 and UR3100 mounting frames can house as many PDS3000C01 modules as
will fit in them.
3.5. Module configuration
The PDS3000C01 module contains several microswitches that must be configured
before it is inserted into a mounting frame. The configuration set by the microswitches
can be modified using the control software, however when the unit is first powered on
the microswitch settings take precedence. Switch S1 sets the operating mode of the
module as shown in the following table.

- TV STD: Configures the module for use with 625 line PAL signals (OFF-625) or 525 line
NTSC (ON-525).
- TTX: Configures the module to either eliminate the teletext signals (ON-RMV or to
embed them into the luminance information of the SDI signal (OFF-PASS).
- FLT1 and FLT2: These configure the module's response to a loss of the CCVS signal.
There are three possible operating modes: switching to the reference signal and
freezing the re-synchronization process: (FLT1: X, FLT2: OFF-REF), switching to video
black (FLT1: OFF-BLK, FLT2: ON-FLT1) and freezing the field for 30 seconds and then
passing to video black after a specified period of time (FLT1: ON-FRZ, FLT2: ON-FLT1).
