never use a damaged appliance!
Disconnect the appliance
from the mains current and contact your retailer if the appliance is
damaged.
20 . Avoid damaging the cable through crimping it, folding it, or rubbing it
on sharp corners. Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames.
21 . Lay the cable in such a manner that unintentional pulling of or tripping
over the cable is not possible.
22 . When using an extension cord, it must be suitable for the
corresponding power requirements.
23 . Never operate the appliance with damp hands or while standing on a
wet floor. Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands.
24 . Do not open the housing under any circumstances. Do not insert any
objects into the internal part of the housing.
25 . Keep the appliance away from all hot surfaces and open flames.
Always operate the appliance on a flat, stable, clean, fireproof and
dry surface. Protect the appliance against heat, dust, direct sunlight,
moisture, and dripping and splashing water.
26 . Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance. Do not place
objects with open flames (e.g. candles) on top of or beside the
appliance. Do not place objects filled with water (e.g. vases) on or
beside the appliance.
27 . Do not pull on the mains cable to remove the mains plug from the
socket and do not wrap the mains cable around the appliance.
28 . Connect the mains plug to an easily accessible socket, so that
you can quickly disconnect the appliance from the mains supply
in an emergency. Pull the mains plug out of the socket in order
to disconnect the appliance completely. Use the mains plug as a
separator.
29 . Always switch off the appliance before you pull on the mains plug.
30 . Always allow the parts of the appliance and its contents to come to a
complete stop before cleaning it or removing parts.
