OPERATION
•
Connect the power plug (4) to a suitable electrical outlet.
•
Press the on/off switch
ON /OFF
(7) to switch the appliance on. The operating light

•
Set the heat control (6) to the desired power level and preheat the appliance for 16 minutes.

•
Prepare the food ( Recipes).
•
Place the food on either the grill plate (1), the hot stone (2) or the pans (9). When using the pans (9),
make sure to place it properly in the cooking area (8) moulds to avoid melting the pan’s plastic handle.
•
Regularly check the cooking progress. Turn food using the provided scrapers (10), so that it can be
cooked to your taste.
Switch appliance off
•
After use, set the heat control (6) to
MIN
.
•
Press the on/off switch
ON /OFF
(7) to switch the appliance off. The operating light

(5) goes
off.
•
Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool down completely, out of the
reach from children and pets!
Danger of burns!
During preheating or cooling process, never attempt to touch the grill plate (1), the hot stone (2)
or the cooking area (8) to check the temperature.
RECIPES
Raclette
•
You can prepare the Swiss specialty Raclette for up to 8 persons with this appliance.
•
The preparation of Raclette is easy and has a great variety. You can combine almost any ingredients you like.
•
Typical Raclette ingredients are small corn cobs, pineapple, champignons, onions, small asparagus,
ham, salami and so on.
•
You also can fry sausages or meat in small pieces on the grill plate (1).
•
Only use cheese suitable for Raclette or special Raclette cheese. Ask your grocer for advice.
•
Suitable cheese for Raclette is Raclette cheese, Emmental cheese, Gouda or Edam cheese.
•
Note:
Do not use cheese that melts slowly.
•
For Raclette you need approx. 250 grams of Raclette cheese for each person.
•
Traditionally there would be jacket potatoes as side dish. You might also use some bread or other side
dishes.
Melting cheese
•
Place some ingredients in a pan (9) and cover it with one or two slices of cheese. Place the pan (9) in the
appliance and set a low temperature for the cheese to melt slowly and prevent it from burning.
•
When bubbles build up in the cheese, it is ready for eating.
