Environmental protection
Discarded electric appliances are recyclable and should not be discarded in the domestic
waste! Please actively support us in conserving resources and protecting the environment by
returning this appliance to the collection centres.
Do not put your used batteries, nickel cadmium, rechargeable, round cell or starter batteries in
with your household rubbish. Take them to an appropriate disposal/collection site.
Warning!
•
Do not attempt to disassemble the appliance at any time. Doing so earlier will destroy
the appliance and cause injuries.
•
The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
•
Let the removal of the battery only be performed by a qualified person at your collection
centre/recycling centre.
•
Pry handle at the bottom of the end cap. Then remove the 2 screws with a screwdriver (fig.
8
).

Pry handle inside the holder buckle. Then take out the battery holder (fig.
9
).
•
Pry the battery out of the battery holder (fig.

Caution!
Do not to short-circuit the negative and positive poles of the battery. Do not connect the
appliance to the mains again after you have removed the battery.
