Filter needs frequent backwashing

Check for algae, if present treat accordingly.

Check and adjust chlorine and pH levels

Clean sand filter with special cleaner ( See pool service company)
•
Check surface of sand in sand filter; if cracked or crusted, remove 1” sand.

Blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker

Loose electrical connection or broken wire
