19.Align the Mammut drive horizontally.
20.Now tighten all the screws with a torque of 86 Nm.

Only for chassis with variable axle support
ADVICE
Please note: With chassis with variable axle support (3AV), the shearing cams must be shimmed
by installing the supplied 7 mm washers in the shearing cams.
1. With 3AV chassis, fit the washers on the two bolts on the wheel side after the spacers
(fig. 5)

Smaller diameter (13) - top
Larger diameter (12) - bottom
2. Insert the cable of the Mammut drive through the rubber sleeve.
3. Insert the Mammut drive with the bolts through the available mounting holes in the frame and fasten it
with one nut
(fig. 6)

4. Fit the third washer to compensate for the shearing cam embossment on the inside of the frame bet-
ween the frame and the crossmember connecting piece
(fig. 7)

Electrical Installation
1. Determine a suitable location for installing the Mammut supply battery*.
2. Make a large enough hole in the floor of the caravan for the cable to the battery*.

Make sure that there are no electrical installations or structural members in the area of the hole!
3. Feed the positive cable and earth cable together with the data cable of both drives through this
opening into the interior of the caravan.
4. Mount the enabling sensor on the tow bar.
CAUTION!
Danger of a break!
Nuts from enabling sensor only hand tighten! No wrench for plastic nuts to use!
For vehicles with a plastic tow bar cover
(fig. 11)
Drill the required holes and mount the sensor.
For vehicles without a tow bar cover
(fig. 12)
Slightly slacken the existing screw and attach the supplied mounting housing.
Mount the sensor.
Retighten the screw with 86 Nm.
5. Route the cables along the crossbeam within the frame so that they cannot chafe, and fasten the
cables with the supplied accessories.

Ensure sufficient freedom of movement of the cables on the drive!
6. Connect the data cable with the supplied connecting cable set
(fig. 13)

When using an AL-KO Power Pack
*
(not available in all countries),
you can proceed to install the
external mounting instructions.
Without Power Pack continue with item 7:
7. Plug the plus cable connectors into the fuse holder until they click audibly into place
(fig. 14 -a)

The flat blade fuses must not be plugged in!
8. Push the contact retainers into the fuse holder until they click audibly into place
(fig. 14 -b)

Once these are snapped in, the cables can no longer slip out of the fuse holder.
9. Connect the earth cable to the battery terminal
