Trouble Shooting Guide

Symptom
Possible cause

Set Dead. No led lit.
Power not connected to the Tv
Ens ure all connecting leads are
fitted firmly and the power switch
is turned on.
Set Dead. Standby led lit red.
Tv is in s tandby mode.

No picture. Standby led out.
Set switched to AV with no input.
Select TV input.
Switch AV s ource On
Poor Nois y or ghos ting picture
Poor aerial s ignal.
Check all aerial connections .
If us ing an indoor aerial, have an
external aerial fitted.
Disconnect any other items using
the s ame aerial.
Signal Ok but Fixed Ghost on
screen.
An image may have been burn
on the s creen.

Speakers not connected
Check speaker connections
Mute turned on.
Check mute is turned off
External amplifier turned off
Check external amplifier s ettings.
Teletext poor
Poor signal

Exhausted batteries
Replace the batteries see page 9
Objects in line of s ight
Rem ove any objects in the path of
the s ens or of the Tv
No Remote Control functions
No s ound.

Care of the Screen.
Do NOT use any solvents or abrasive cleaners on the screen. You may damage the invisible
coating. If the screen is dirty you may use a soft cloth and mild detergent.
