Echo
Produces echo effects. (Only during disc playback)
Press SHIFT+ECHO on the remote control and turn
VOLUME to adjust the echo level while a disc is
being played back.
On the unit, press MODE repeatedly to display "
ECHO
",
and press ENTER within 4 seconds. Then turn VOLUME.
The echo level can be adjusted from 0 (off) to 6.
If VOLUME is not turned within 4 seconds, the setting is
canceled.
•When you do not use Echo function, set it 0 (off).
Otherwise, noise will be generated.
Key control
Adjusts the key of the playback sound in four steps, upward
and downward. (Only for CD function)
Press KEY CONTROL

on the remote control.

: With each press, the key is adjusted upward in a half
tone.

: With each press, the key is adjusted downward in a
half tone.
•Sound source is played in monaural in Key control.
To restore the original key
Press KEY CONTROL

on the remote control until

" appears on the display.
•The original key is restored automatically when disc
playback is stopped or it ends.
Karaoke program
In Karaoke programed playback, tracks can be added even
during disc playback, and each programed track is cleared
when it finishes playing.

Press CD to select the CD function, and load the
disc.

Press SHIFT+PROGRAM once on the remote
control.
"
CD KARAOKE
" is displayed, and then "
K P0
"
appears on the display.

Press DISC DIRECT PLAY 1-3 to select a disc.
Then, press the numbered buttons to program
a track.
The selected track number lights up on the display.
- To select the 20th track, press +10, +10 and 0.
- To select the 15th track, press +10 and 5.

Repeat step 3 to program other tracks.

After a track is played, it is cleared from the program.
• Karaoke program cannot be used with MP3-CDs.
• If the programed track number does not exist on the
selected disc, playback stops and the display flashes. In
this case, press
g
to skip the error track, then press
d
to start playback from the next programed track.
• You cannot program more than 10 tracks (including the
current track) in Karaoke program. "
FULL
" is displayed.
To add a track to the program during playback
Repeat step 3.
To check the program
Press SHIFT+CD EDIT/CHECK on the remote control
repeatedly. The disc number, track number and program
number are displayed in succession.
To skip the current track
Press
g
. The skipped track is cleared from the program.
To clear the program
Press
g
repeatedly until "
K P0
" will be displayed.
Press it once more, karaoke program is canceled.
To stop programed playback
Press
s
.
When
d
is pressed, playback resumes from the last track.
