PREPARATION

OPERATION

 It is possible to make the operation settings for all indoor units or individual units.

Hold down the PROGRAM (CLOCK ADJUST) button for
2 seconds or more.

Press the DAY button and select the
current day.
A

 appears around the selected

day.

Press the Set Time buttons to set the current time.
Press repeatedly to adjust the current time in 1-minute increments. Press and
hold to adjust the current time in 10-minute increments.
* Hold down a Set Time button to adjust the time quickly.

ex. Monday 10:00 (12-hour display)

Press again the PROGRAM (CLOCK
ADJUST) button to end.

Press the Select button to select the indoor unit.

 for the selected indoor unit lights, and the operating status is displayed.

* If all indoor units are selected, all of the registered indoor units are controlled at the same time.
* If all indoor units are selected, 

 appears on the Timer and Clock Display.

To set the operation mode

Press the Mode button to set the operation mode.

Temperature setting range

AUTO ............................................................ 18 to 30 °C (64 to 88 °F)
COOL/DRY .................................................... 18 to 30 °C (64 to 88 °F)
HEAT ............................................................. 10 to 30 °C (48 to 88 °F)
The set temperature cannot be set during the FAN mode.
(The temperature will not appear on the remote controller’s display.)

Press the Set Temperature buttons to set the room temperature.

* AUTO cannot be selected for a heat pump model unless it is set up as an Administrative indoor unit.
** FAN cannot be selected for a heat pump model.
*** HEAT cannot be selected for a cooling only model.
Refer to details in the Administrative indoor unit OPERATING TIPS.
* If the priority mode is set to “Priority on Control Indoor Unit”, the operating mode of

other indoor units except Control Indoor Unit will be controlled by a Control Indoor Unit.

* If the operating mode of Administrative Indoor Unit is set to “AUTO”, “AUTO” is

displayed in addition to the display of current operating mode on other wired remote
controllers except Administrative Indoor Unit. In this case, operation of other indoor
units is controlled by the Administrative Indoor Unit.

Example: When operating mode of the Adminis-

trative Indoor Unit is set to “AUTO” while
air conditioning setting. (The indication
on other wired remote controllers except
Administrative Control Indoor Unit).

* According to the initial setting, the heating temperature range from 10 to 15 °C (48

to 58 °F) cannot be set. In addition, the temperature range from 10 to 15 °C  (48 to
58 °F) is invalid depending on the model even if it can be set.
