3.
All cables and electrical equipment must be tested in accordance with the regulations of your
country.
4.
In accordance with HSE guidelines, all 230 Volt equipment should be protected with an RCD
(Residual Current Device) having a maximum trip current of 30 mA.
RCD’s are available from
Airquee or your electrical store.
When operating the unit please:
- Make sure the electric power supply is stable and not fluctuating in any way.
- Make sure all the cables are connected properly: the drive motor with the control box, and
the control box to the main electric supply.
- When using it with a generator, make sure it has an output of more than 4 kVA (kilo-volt-
ampere), and a stable 230 Volts on 50Hz.

Issue
Solution
Short circuit or
ground fault on the
drive output side
-
Try connecting the mechanism directly to the main supply. In case it is
used with an extension cord, make sure not to connect to many things
to the same extension lead.
Unit has no power
- Check if the power cord is connected correctly
- Check both ends of the mains power cord for damages/disruption
- Check if the emergency stop button is released
The ride is really
slow
- Check that you have enough voltage & amps to the machine.
Once you go over a 30 feet (10 meter) extension cord this can
contribute to voltage drop: the longer the cord, the worse the
problem will be.
The machine won’t
buck or spin
- Check the Emergency Stop button to be released
- Open up every plug and socket and check connections
- Inspect all cords for any damage that may create a short
- If not, we recommend a qualified electrician does a continuity test
with a meter to determine what parts of the machine are receiving
power
I cannot throw
anyone off the bull

The mechanism is
making noises
- Lubricate all bearings on the motion base and the drive chain
inside the motion base using WD
– 40 (or similar) - see the
lubrication points on the figure below.
