Servicing the Insert
CAUTION
: The electrodes on the insert’s face are easily damaged. Do not
scratch, gouge, or sand them with coarse sandpaper.
Cleaning the Electrodes
Aquatic growth can accumulate rapidly on the four electrodes reducing
performance within weeks. Clean the electrodes with fine grit wet-dry sandpaper,
being careful to avoid making scratches.
Replacing the O-rings
1. Install the yellow O-ring near the top of the insert (Figure 12). Install a small
O-ring near the bottom.
2. Place the remaining two small O-rings near the bottom of the blanking plug.
