 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

D&D Hood

The hood should be cleaned frequently, both on the inside (except for the area behind the grease

filter) and outside. Use a clean cloth dampened with denatured alcohol or neutral liquid detergents

for cleaning. Avoid the use of abrasive products.

Warning: Failure to comply with the hood cleaning and filter changing and cleaning indications

may cause a fire. It is thus advisable to follow the instructions suggested herein.

Clean the anti-grease filter using non-aggressive detergents once a month, manually or in the

dishwasher at a low temperature setting and short cycle. When washed in the dishwasher, the

metal anti-grease filter can turn opaque, but its filtering characteristics will not be affected.

For the filtering version only. The carbon filter can be regenerated just once, by washing it in the

dishwasher at a low temperature setting, and subsequently drying it in a normal kitchen oven

at 90° for about 10 minutes. This filter must be regenerated or replaced as soon as the indicator light

on the cooker hood is displayed. For cooker hood models without a filter replacement indicator,

it is advisable to wash or replace it roughly every 6 months, for standard use of the cooking and

hood.
