SAFETY
This manual gives information and instructions relative to an appropriate and safe usage of
the device. Many accidents happen as consequence for an improper usage. That is why the in-
dications given in this manual should be followed at all times. Users should observe carefully
the safety measures present in this manual during the functioning of the device.
ELECTRICAL HAZARDS
During the installation or during the process of maintenance, there is the danger of electricity shock.
Become aware of the following safety measures before starting with the installation or maintenance:
First of all, disconnect the ventilation box from the power supply and unplug it from the elec-
trical socket, before starting to execute the maintenance procedures. Watch out! After discon-
necting from the power supply, the condenser might remain charged!
Resume the power supply to the unit or plug the device again to the socket after finishing any
procedure or when the installation is finished.
Do not place the ISO Ventilator Box directly exposed to rain, in case of putting it outdoors
place it in an installation under a roof.
MECHANICAL HAZARDS
During the installation or during the process of maintenance, there is the danger of suffering
injuries and wounds by cause of an electricity shock. Do not ever open the housing of the
box, meanwhile this is in use.
Maintenances procedures can only be executed with a disconnected ventilation box which
power plug is not connected to the power supply.
INTRODUCTION
This manual is meant for users and installers of the AIRFAN® Ventilation Box. In these instructions you
can find all the information that you might need to use the Ventilation Box in a safe and advisable way.
Before starting to use your AIRFAN® Ventilation Box, it is of great importance to get sufficiently familiar
with this manual. It is necessary to get familiar with the working of the device and the safety instructions.
The safety instructions here mentioned must be followed at all times. This is on the interest of your safety
and to prevent damage to the device.
AIM OF USAGE
The ISO Ventilation Box are exclusively meant to be installed in exhaust systems (like professional kit-
chens), or as a component of an air control system. The information in this manual is focused in the
originally designated use of the Ventilation Box. This AIRFAN® controller can only be used if it is done
under the intended aims of usage.
WARRANTY AND LIABILITY
AIRFAN® grants a warranty for a period of 12 months after installation. The warranty is not applicable in
the following cases:
• The installation was not executed following the applicable requirements;
• The device presents defects originated by faulty connection, improper use or dumping of the
Ventilation Box;
• There have been made changes in the wiring or reparations by an unauthorized person.
