Registering a Temperature Extreme Sensor onto a
Reach

4. Check with the Control Centre that it is convenient to perform a test call, press the TEST button and confirm they receive a high
temperature alarm call followed by a low temperature alarm call.
Remember to remove and refit the battery after the test call.
Deleting a Temperature Extreme Sensor from a
Reach
at-home alarm unit

using the keypad on the rear of the Reach unit

FLASH FAST GREEN
and the unit will announce
“
Program Mode - Ready
”.

and the Reach will announce “
Delete Radio Device
” followed by a “
Beep
”.
Enter

(high temperature) followed by the 6 digit sensor ID
to be deleted and wait for the “
Beep
”
Enter

(low temperature) followed by the 6 digit sensor ID
to be deleted, after the “
Beep
” press

to exit.
Press the
key to exit Program Mode; th
e unit will sound a “
Double-Beep
” and the front light will return to
STEADY GREEN
.
The 6 digit ID can be found on a label on the back of the temperature extreme sensor.
The instructions given above for the standard Reach product also applies to the Reach Plus, Reach Plus GSM
and Reach Ultra models. Refer to the instruction booklets provided with these products for more information
on programming and testing radio devices.

When the front light

and the Reach will announce

”.
You now have 1 minute to activate the temperature extreme
sensor.
Press the
GREEN
button on the Reach unit.
The front light will return to
STEADY GREEN
and the Reach
is back in normal operating mode.

Press and hold the TEST button for about 3 seconds until the
RED
light starts to flash and the Reach will announce
“
High Temperature
”.
When the
RED
light stops flashing wait for about 10 seconds
and it will start flashing again and the Reach will announce
“
Low Temperature
”.
IMPORTANT:
remove the battery to EXIT TEST MODE, leave
for a few seconds then refit.
