INTRODUCTION
Thank you for deciding to purchase the Plastic Step Box from Aidapt. The Plastic Step Box is
manufactured from the finest materials and components available, when used correctly it is
designed to give many years of reliable trouble-free service.
NB. Do not exceed the weight limit stated – doing so could put the user at risk.
NB. Weight limit: 114 kg (18 stone)
BEFORE USE
•
Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives or other sharp instruments
as this may damage the surface of the product.
•
Check the product for any visible damage If you see any damage or suspect a fault,
do not use your product as it may compromise your safety, but contact your
supplier for support.
CLEANING
All of the product components are manufactured from quality materials. However, it is very
important that you only clean your Plastic Step Box using a non-abrasive cleaner or mild
detergent with a soft cloth. Abrasive cleaners e.g. AJAX and or abrasive cleaning pads may
seriously damage your product beyond repair.
WARNINGS & USAGE
•
Ensure that the back of the step is positioned against a solid upright surface to
prevent the step from moving forward.
•
DO NOT step onto the edge of the step; this may cause it to tip. Always step onto
the middle of the step top and ensure that your weight is evenly distributed.
•
DO NOT jump onto or off the step.
•
Use the step only when dry to reduce the risk of slipping and ensure that the
surface beneath the step is dry before use.
•
This is not a toy; ensure that children are supervised at all times.
USE OF BATH OILS
Caution should be observed if you are using any form of bath oils or oily skin preparation
with your Plastic Step Box as this may impair your natural contact skin resistance.
In the event of using any such oil, your Plastic Step Box must be thoroughly cleaned with a
suitable detergent to break down any oily residue. Failure to observe this recommendation
could impair your safety.
