INTRODUCTION
Thank you for deciding to purchase the Folding Seat Cane from Aidapt. The Folding
Seat Cane is manufactured from the finest materials and components available,
when used correctly it is designed to give many years of reliable trouble-free
service.
Please Note: Always consult with your prescriber/Physiotherapist if you are in
any doubt that this product is suitable for your use.
NB. The suitability of this equipment should be assessed by a competent
person before use.
100 kg (16 stone) weight limit.
Do not exceed the weight limit stated – doing so could put the user at risk.
BEFORE USE
Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives of other sharp instruments
as this may damage the surface of the product.
Check the product for any visible damage If you see any damage or suspect a fault,
do not use your product, but contact your supplier for support.
FOLDING & UNFOLDING THE SEAT CANE

Unfold the Folding Seat Cane by gripping the bottom of the seat and
pulling it out away from the handle as far as it will go, until the seat is
parallel with the floor.

To fold the Seat to use the product as a walking aid or for storage, push the
front of the seat towards the pole below the handle, ensuring that the
clasp fitted to the rear of the seat clicks into place around the pole.
NB. Do not attempt to use the product as a walking aid while the seat is
unfolded.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
If seated with the handle behind you, do not put your weight back against the
handle as this may cause the seat to tip. Some users may find the seat more stable if
seated with the handle to the front.
NB. This item is not a toy: do not allow children to use or climb on the Folding
Seat Cane.
