INTRODUCTION
Thank you for deciding to purchase the Folding Shower Chair from Aidapt. The Folding
Shower Chair is manufactured from the finest materials and components available, when
used correctly it is designed to give many years of reliable trouble-free service.
Please Note: Always consult with your prescriber/Physiotherapist if you are in any
doubt that this product is suitable for your use.
NB. This equipment must be installed by a competent person.
100 kg (16 stone) weight limit.
Do not exceed the weight limit stated – doing so could put the user at risk.
BEFORE USE

Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives or other sharp instruments
as this may damage the product.

Check the product for any visible damage. If you see any damage or suspect a fault,
do not use your product, but contact your supplier immediately for support.
FOLDING & UNFOLDING THE SHOWER CHAIR

Unfold the Folding Shower Chair for use: Grip the handle with one hand and lift the
front edge of the chair upwards with the other hand.
NB. Check that the Shower Chair is on a solid and even surface before use.

To fold the Shower Seat when not in use: Hold the handle and gently lift the seat at
the back edge, nearest to the handle; this will cause the seat to move downwards
flat against the handle.
NB. Care should be taken to avoid trapping your fingers in the chair when folding
it for storage.
CLEANING
All of the product components are manufactured from quality materials. However, it is very
important that you only clean your shower chairs and stools using a non-abrasive cleaner or
mild detergent with a soft cloth, avoid using lime scale remover. Abrasive cleaners e.g. AJAX
and or abrasive cleaning pads will seriously damage your product beyond repair.
Do not exceed 50
o
C when cleaning the seat cover and/or back as this will permanently
damage the plastic.
N.B. Regular daily cleaning will reduce the buildup of limescale on your product.
