SB212-PH User's Manual

2�9 Replacing the PCIe Card and Riser Assembly

2.9.1 Installing the riser card

Step 1

 Align the connector on the riser card with the gold finger on the motherboard 

assembly.

Step 2

 Push the edge of the gold finger firmly into the motherboard assembly. Make 

sure that the riser card is securely installed in the motherboard assembly.

Step 3 

Secure the card retainer to the chassis using the retaining screw. 

Step 4

 Push forward the card retainer lock the PCI-E card to hold it in place.
