OPENING/CLOSING PROCEDURE:
•
check the joints of hydraulic connections on the tractor;
•
check the tightness of all electrical connections (supply, hydraulic solenoid valves);
•
start lifting the boom by using the lever on the valve in the tractor;
Figure 15.9
•
when the boom is lifted, the wheel mechanism releases the oil flow through the non-return
valve and to the opening control valves - Figure 15.4. The transport guards are also released -
Figure 15.9;
•
by moving the lever of the other hydraulic valve in the tractor, start to open both sides
simultaneously or only open the right or the left side;
•
lower the spray boom to the working height and adjust it with the hydraulic levelling cylinder,
if necessary.
•
The spray boom is closed in the reverse order.
15.5.1
WORK WITH CLOSED BOOMS ON ONE SIDE
To use the spray boom with arms closed on one side, you must first lift the boom until the wheel
mechanism is activated. Then open the arms at the desired side and lower the boom to the working
height. You can begin spraying. The boom is blocked by the wire rope - Figure 15.3.
WARNING: When working with the boom only opened on one side, reduce the
travelling speed! Be careful as the machine can overturn!
