GENERAL SAFETY RULES
•
Never let children
climb on the tractor or play close to material, even when the machine is
stopped ;
•
On delivery of a machine (new or second-hand) insist on the provision of the
user’s manual
and
the
code of work certificate of conformity
and thereon respect the constructor’s instructions ;
•
Make sure that the DISC-O-MULCH and its complementary material does not hide the tractors rear
lights ;
•
If necessary equip your material with
reflective signalization
panels or complementary luminous
indicators ;
•
Clear the highway of any mud left by the tractor or tools ;
•
Be aware that soil-working material, however narrow, presents a real danger (cutting-edge blades,
ploughshares, discs…) and can be fatal in an accident ;
•
Wear safety shoes and gloves when manipulating sharp parts ;
•
If the material is not already equipped, anticipate means of signalization:
illumination ramps,
catadioptres, plates or bands of reflective stickers.
Long or large material must imperatively
have a signalling system when the tractor’s rear lights are hidden ;
•
Always
employ
bolts and locking systems ;
•
For exposed metal parts, use an anti-rusting product or grease.
