Exhaust system and speed governor
Regularly, and also during the operation, check
the exhaust system (A/8), the governor lever, link-
age, and governor springs for contamination,
plant debris, and other combustible material.
Clean with a brush or compressed air, when nec-
essary.
Fire hazard - with contaminated ex-
haust system and adjacent components!
Check before each start-up.
Replace damaged exhaust parts.
The speed governor must be correctly adjusted in
order to start, operate and stop the engine at the
correct speed.
