5.  Now tighten the four bolts from step 3.

6.  Assemble a bag rod clip (E) to the inside of each lower 

handle tube using a 1/4" x 1-1/4" hex bolt (A) and a 1/4" 
nylock nut (D) as shown. The clips should face towards 
the sweeper housing. See figure 4.

7.  Slide the bent bag rod (6) through the stitched bag flap 

on the top of the hopper bag (2) as shown in figure 5.

8.  Slide the lower bag rod (5) through the stitched bag flap 

on the bottom of the hopper bag as shown in figure 5.

9.  Assemble the two plastic rod caps (F) to the rod ends 

of the lower bag rod (5). See figure 6 (bag removed for 
clarity)

4.  Assemble the upper handle tube (3) over the handle leg 

stand tubes (4) .  Align holes in handle and assemble 
the bag rod clips (E) to the handle as shown and fasten 
with 1/4" x 1-1/4" hex bolts (A) and nylock nuts (D). See 
figure 3.
