Performance Verification Tests

Use the performance verification tests to verify the 
measurement performance of the instrument. The 
performance verification tests use the instrument's 
specifications listed in the 

U1271A/U1272A User's Guide

 and 

the 

U1273A/U1273AX User’s Guide

 (available for download at 

www.agilent.com/find/hhTechLib

). 

The performance verification tests are recommended as 
acceptance tests when you first receive the instrument. The 
acceptance test results should be compared against the 

 

1 year test limits. After acceptance, you should repeat the 
performance verification tests at every calibration interval. 

If the instrument fails the performance verification tests, 
adjustment or repair is required.

N O T E

Ensure that you have read the 

“Test Considerations” 

on page 26 before 

running the performance verification tests.
