CAUTION
Risk of injury through sharp edges

Before servicing the pump or before any mounting/ dismounting action of
the pump from the system, wait for the complete standstill of the pump.
•
Do not operate directly inside the high vacuum flange.
•
If necessary, wear protective gloves according to EN 420.
Safety guideline for Turbomolecular Pumps
Turbomolecular pumps as described in the following operating manual contain a
large amount of kinetic energy due to the high Rotation Speed in combination with
the specific mass of their rotors.
In case of malfunctioning of a mechanical part of the pump the rotational energy
may be released to whatever the pump is fixed to.
WARNING
To avoid damage to equipment and to prevent injuries to operating
personnel the installation instructions as given in this manual should be
strictly followed!
