Installation Guide: TCD-to-FID Series Connection

Installing the TCD-to-FID Series Connector

Working inside the oven, and following proper swaging 
procedures described in the 6820 

Getting Started

 manual, 

use the 1/8-inch stainless tubing nut, back ferrule, and front 
ferrule to connect the TCD-to-FID jumper tube to the TCD 
vent tube. Use two wrenches against each other to avoid 
twisting the vent tube.

Use the 1/4-inch stainless tubing nut and Vespel ferrule to 
install the 1/4- to 1/8-inch adapter into the FID.

Again, following proper swaging procedures, use the 1/8-inch 
brass tubing nut, back ferrule, and front ferrule to connect 
the TCD-to-FID jumper tube to the FID 1/4- to 1/8-inch 
adapter.
