Introduction
This
chapter
describes
the
adjustment
required
to
ensure
the
4338B
is
within
its
published
specications
after
it
has
been
repaired.
The
adjustment
should
be
performed
along
with
periodic
maintenance
to
keep
the
4338B
in
optimum
operating
condition.
If
proper
performance
cannot
be
achieved
after
adjustment,
proceed
to
Chapter
4.
Note
T
o
ensure
proper
results
and
correct
instrument
operation,
a
30
minute
warm-up
and
stabilization
is
required
before
performing
the
adjustment.

adjustment

hazards

Any
interruption
of
the
protective
ground
conductor
(inside
or
outside
the
instrument)
or
disconnection
of
the
protective
ground
terminal
can
make
the
instrument
dangerous
.
Intentional
interruption
of
the
protective
ground
system
for
any
reason
is
prohibited.
