attempting any of the solutions below.
In the following section, we have listed some causes and solutions to some of the problems you may
encounter.
If you encounter a problem that is difficult to solve, even after having read through this section, please
contact your local dealer or distributor or, go online at https://www.aggrowth.com/grainguard for
additional troubleshooting tips. You may also contact an AGI product specialist at 1–800–565–2840.
Before you contact them, please have this operation manual and the serial number from your machine
ready.
7.1. General Troubleshooting
1. Make certain the aeration system is covered with grain.
2. Move the toggle switch to the ON position.
3. After a 15 second delay (pre purge period), the yellow LED light on the solenoid should come on, the
solenoid valve clicks open and the ignitor inside the burner should start to spark. This will continue for 10
seconds. Heater will attempt to light 3 times with 15 seconds delay between attempts.
4. If a spark is present down in the burner but the unit does not light within the 10 second trial for ignition
period for 3 tries , then reset by:
a. Turning the toggle switch to the OFF position.
b. Making certain the manual reset high limit switch is reset.
Note
This is done by removing the high limit switch circular cover located on the transition housing and
inside control box just above the heater. Once the high limit is exposed insert a screwdriver into the
hole and press the red button on to high limit lightly. If a slight popping sound is heard then the
high limit has been reset. If the sound is not heard then the switch is already reset. Replace the
circular cover and try starting the heater again.
5. If the heater still does not light refer to the following Diagnostic Section.
