D2061 ADSL TESTER
Select ADSL Access, ATU-R mode.
Select MANUAL TESTS.
Select NOISE TEST.
Start the test.
The tester provides, to each frequency associated to a DMT tone, the RMS noise
value measured in dBm.
3.9. Through Mode feature
Enable this feature whenever it is necessary to use the device D2061 as a real
user’s modem. The tester is in Transparent mode, so all data flow will pass
through it. D2061 is connected on one side to the ADSL line and on the other end
to a PC Ethernet 10BaseT port.
Open the TEST MENU.
Select Access Mode : ADSL
ÅÆ
Ethernet.
Select MANUAL TESTS.
Activate the ADSL connection, if not already active, through
the CONNECTION test.
Configure the values related to ATM (VCI, VPI, LLC SNAP)
parameters according to the network configuration
expected.
