Check the following before requesting maintenance:

reservoir, open the lid and air
out the reservoir for 12 hours
in a cool location
Water is dirty
Clean the water reservoir and
re-fill it with cool, clean water
Power lamp is on, but the
humidifier does not work
Too much water is in the
water reservoir
Drain the humidifier base
and water reservoir, close
the lid of the water reservoir
tight and restart the unit
Mist is minimal
Too much scale in the
humidifier base
Clean the transducer
Water level in the water
reservoir is low
Fill the water reservoir with
fresh, cold tap water
Abnormal noise
Unit is on an unstable surface
Move the unit to a stable and
flat surface for operation
There are apertures between
the nozzle, lid and water tank
Dip the nozzle in water and
then reinsert it into the water
reservoir
Mist is coming out from
around the nozzle or lid
Lid is loose
Remove the lid and firmly
reposition on the top of the
humidifier
