RELATIVE HUMIDITY & HUMIDITY LEVEL
TECHNICAL DATA
Relative humidity is the amount of water vapor that is present in the air . It is shown as a
percentage of the water vapor in the air in relation to the total amount of water vapor that the
air can contain at a specific temperature . Air always contains water vapor, but the percentage
of water vapor in the air can vary . The higher the temperature, the more water vapor can be
held in the air . When cold air is heated to a comfortable temperature in the winter, the relative
humidity will drop . In order to keep a comfortable environment at home, water vapor must be
added into the air . For a comfortable and healthy environment, we recommend maintaining a
40% - 50% relative humidity level . The humidifier will control the humidity level in your home
based on your desired settings .
