MAINTENANCE
Turn the cleaner off before connecting or disconnecting wands, power nozzle and hose.
CAUTION:
FOLLOW THE STEPS LISTED BELOW TO ENSURE PEAK CLEANING PERFORMANCE:
• Vacuum brushes with end of hose handle after use
• Wipe tools occasionally with damp cloth or sponge and mild detergent
• Change bags and/or filters regularly; the after filter should be replaced after each use of
six filter bags
• Periodically check revolving brushes for build-up of lint, hair, or other foreign material and
remove as necessary
• Store cleaner in dry area; never outdoors
• Have cleaner checked periodically by an authorized service facility
NOTE:
Periodically inspect ends of the hose handgrip, wands, and the elbow or power
nozzle. Wipe these areas clean with a soft cloth.
TO REPLACE AFTERFILTERS:
• Gently press release latch (cc) and lift off the cover (dd)
• Lift afterfilter out and replace with a new one
• Engage the two spurs on the filter grill in the matching openings on the canister and snap
into place
TO CLEAR CLOGGED HOSE:
• Gently press release latch and remove cover
• Lift afterfilter out
• Attach end of hose (ee) into blower attachment receptacle; place handle end of hose into
suction end of cleaner
• Turn the cleaner on and clear obstruction
• Turn cleaner off
• Once hose is clear, press the release on blower attachment receptacle and pull hose out
• Reinstall afterfilter, engage the two spurs on the filter grill in the matching openings on
the canister and snap into place
