POWER* (N)

•  When not ON check power source

NOTE:

For normal running, only the Power (N) Symbol is illuminated

HEAT PROTECTION (O)
BAG CHANGE (P)

•  Symbol will illuminate and cleaner will shut off; replace filter bag, reset ON/OFF switch

BAG CHECK (Q)

•  The unit will not start without a filter bag and the Bag Check symbol will appear; insert a

new filter bag and the unit will then start

•  Open the suction control (S) to reduce suction on lightweight rugs, lamp shades or net curtains; the suction control

always needs to be open when using the crevice nozzle

TO USE THE COMBINATION TOOL

•  Attach the adapter (T) to handgrip or wand
•  Attach combination tool (U) to adapter; use to clean deeply into all types of upholstered furniture and fabrics; adjust

wings to match furniture contours

•  Reverse the combination tool (V) on adapter with wand to clean baseboards without bending or stretching; with the

round brush on the end of the handgrip, remove dust from delicate articles or carved furniture contours

The combination tool is ideal for cleaning automobile upholstery, blankets, pillows, mattresses, and clothing.

•  For curtains and draperies, reduce the suction strength and attach the combination tool to the wand for better reach

•  To remove adapter, depress latch and pull

TO ATTACH THE CREVICE NOZZLE (W)

•  Attach to the end of the handgrip to get into crevices of upholstered furniture and other hard-to-

reach areas; use on the end of a wand to clean hot air registers without kneeling or stooping;

•  To Remove depress latch and pull

NOTE:

Remember to open the suction control (S) when using the crevice nozzle.

Adjust the control dial for type of cleaning required. For normal conditions the dial should be set in center position (R). For vacuuming fine dust, rotate

the dial counter-clockwise. When vacuuming larger particles, rotate the dial clockwise.

Adjust suction control before cleaning to reduce suction for gentle cleaning of delicate fabrics:

The motor of this cleaner shuts off when the temperature rises above the proper operating level. This prevents damage from overheating, and

prolongs cleaning power.

•  If the cleaner shuts off, turn cleaner OFF and disconnect power cord
•  Check the wand, hose and power nozzle for blockage
•  With the power cord disconnected from outlet, allow the machine to cool for 30 minutes before using again
•  After cleaner returns to proper temperature, plug cord in, turn cleaner ON and resume cleaning
