Remove the protective film
from the Velcro mounts.

Position the Air Scrubber Mini
EM by Aerus unit over the
Mini Split indoor intake.

Press firmly to attach to unit.
Your Air Scrubber Mini EM by Aerus requires no periodic maintenance beyond normal
replacement of the ActivePure® Cell. Instructions for replacement of the ActivePure Cell, as
well as the ballast should it need to be replaced, are provided herein. Please contact your
independent HVAC contractor for service.
Note: For optimal performance, we recommend the replacement of the ActivePure® Cell every year,
even if the UV lamp appears to be operating normally.

The power leads can be connected to the Mini Split HVAC power source typically
through the back of the indoor unit. Some models may be different.
7.
Remove any cover to the power connection
points. Connect Black Lead to the S1 terminal.
Connect White Lead to the S2 terminal.

Replace any cover over the power connection
and dress wiring to prevent any possible
damage to the leads.
Once you have reconnected power to the Mini
Split HVAC system, the Air Scrubber Mini EM
by Aerus will automatically work using the
Mini Split HVAC power source.
WARNING:
Before you begin installation, verify the Mini Split HVAC system
is turned off and disconnected from the power source. Failure
to disconnect the power may result in severe electrical shock.
