STEPS 16 TO 23: ASSEMBLING HOUSINGS & ROOF
Step 16:
Attach one large spring (part #60) to each of the loops on the verticals, as shown
below. There are 11 loops– 4 lower, 4 middle, 3 upper – per court (48 total for all four courts).
Step 17:
Prepare the housing, blue goals on one side and yellow goals on the other (sides
being the ones with three horizontal supports). #63Y (yellow) and #63B (Blue) – Begin by
attaching the top corner spring to the top corner on the housing (making sure the goals are
on the side with three horizontal supports).
Use the spring tool to stretch the springs if needed. Start with top corner and move
down. Repeat for the other 3 housings. Ensure that #63Y and #63B are on opposing
sides.
Step 18:
Attach the left and right housings at the top. Pass the Velcro strap of the left housing
through the metal buckle at the top of the right housing. Pull to tighten.
Step 19:
Attach the left and right housing with the vertical Velcro.
Step 20:
Pass the bottom horizontal strap under the horizontal bar with the centre padded divider on and
fasten up again.
Step 21:
Bond the Velcro that attaches the housings to the padded court divider (part
#
40).
Step 21:
Bond the Velcro from the goals the top Velcro around the middle vertical connector (part
#
40) and
the bottom Velcro around the bottom vertical connector (part
#
40).
Step 22:
Wrap the yellow housing spring wraps (part #62) tightly to cover every large spring on the Aeroball.
There is one yellow wrap for each large spring (48 in total).
By the end of Step 22, all 4 housings should be fully attached and bound.
Step 23:
Install the court roof (part #64) on top. The roof attaches with Velcro to the top edges
of the housings. Start in one corner working your way around. Ensure the bond is tight.
