3.19 ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE THE ABSENT FUNCTION
The Absence function can only be activated during the heating mode; this function
allows to maintain the work set to 8°C, to ensure that the ambient temperature
does not fall below this threshold.
If the unit is ON and the heat mode is active, press ”
TEMP
” and “

neously to active or deactivate the Absence function.

NOTE: The Absence and night-time functions can not be activated at the same time;
if the night-time wellness function is active and you want to activate the Absence
function, the night-time wellness function will be disabled automatically. Under
Absence function, fan speed is defaulted at auto speed and set temperature and
speed can’t be adjusted. Press “TURBO” button and the remote controller won’t
send signal. Under °F temperature display, the remote controller will display 46°F
heating.
3.20 REPLACING THE REMOTE CONTROL’S BATTERIES
To replace the batteries of the infra red remote control proceed as follows:
1.
Open the battery cover by pressing the latch at the bottom of the cover;
2.
Remove the old batteries;
3.
Insert two new 1.5V alkaline high performance batteries, type LR03 (AAA), tak-
ing care that their polarity is correct;
4.
Close the battery cover.
NOTE:
— When batteries are replaced use new batteries of the recommended type.
— Remove the batteries if the remote control is not used for extended periods.
— The remote control can emit a signal up to a maximum distance of 8 metres.
— The unit can be affected by signals transmitted by remote controls for televi-
sions, video recorders, or other devices used in the same room.
— If the remote controller does not operate normally, please take the batteries
out and reinsert them after 30 seconds. If it still can’t operate properly, replace
the batteries.
