The unit must be handled by qualified personnel. Carefully follow the 

lifting instructions on the labels placed on the unit. 

The unit must be lifted with extreme care to prevent knocks to the frame, 

panels, electrical panel, etc..

NOTE: Plastic elements can be used to protect the units against damage 

during transport. The machine is also wrapped in packaging. We recom-

mend keeping this protection during all transport and lifting operations 

and not remove the plastic elements until commissioning.

If the unit has anti-vibration supports, they must be installed on the unit 

before final positioning.

Inspection upon receipt

Perform the following check upon receipt of the product.

-   Check that the exterior has not been damaged in any way.

-   Check that the lifting and transport devices are appropriate to the 

type of equipment and compliant with the transport and handling 

instructions attached to this manual.

-   Check that the accessories required for on-site installation have been 

delivered and are operational.

-   If the unit is provided pre-loaded with refrigerant, make sure there have 

been no leaks.

-   Check that the equipment supplied corresponds to the order and 

delivery note

Product identification

The Aermec products can be identified by the 

packaging label

the performance and technical data of your unit.

If the product is damaged, send a registered letter with the details of 

the problem to the shipping company within 48 working hours from 

delivery.

LIFTING

 

Before lifting the unit, place protections between the belts (or ropes and 

chains) and the framework to prevent damage to the structure.

 

CAUTION: ALWAYS USE ALL THE UNIT LIFTING POINTS PROVIDED

•   Follow all safety regulations and standards

•   Wear safety glasses, work gloves and safety shoes

•  Pay the utmost attention to heavy and bulky equipment during lifting 

and handling, and when placing it on the ground.

•   All panels must be tightly fixed before moving the unit

•   Before lifting, check the specific weight on the technical plate.

•   Use all, and only, the lifting points indicated;

•   Use ropes in compliance with Standards and of equal length;

•   Use a spacer in accordance with the sling (not included) see drawing

•   Handle the unit with care and without sudden movements

•  Do not stand under the unit during lifting

Attention: the units cannot be stacked

MOVIMENTAZIONE

La movimentazione dell’unità deve essere eseguita da personale 

qualificato. Seguire scrupolosamente le istruzioni di sollevamento indicate 

con delle etichette poste sull’unità. 

Le operazioni di sollevamento dell’unità devono essere eseguite con 

estrema attenzione per evitare urti su telaio, pannelli, quadro elettrico, 

ecc.

NOTA: Le unità possono essere protette dai danni durante il trasporto 

tramite elementi di plastica. La macchina è anche avvolta in un 

imballo. Si raccomanda di mantenere questa protezione durante tutte 

le operazioni di trasporto e di sollevamento e di non rimuovere gli 

elementi di plastica fino alla messa in funzione.

Se l’unità prevede i supporti antivibranti, essi devono essere installati 

prima del posizionamento finale.

Controlli al ricevimento

Al ricevimento del prodotto, effettuare i seguenti controlli.

-   Controllare che l’esterno non sia stato danneggiato in alcun modo.

-   Controllare che i dispositivi di sollevamento e trasporto siano adeguati 

al tipo di apparecchiatura e siano conformi alle specifiche imposte nelle 

istruzioni di trasporto e movimentazione accluse al presente manuale.

-   Controllare che gli accessori necessari all’installazione in loco siano stati 

consegnati e siano funzionanti.

-   Se l’unità viene fornita precaricata con il refrigerante, verificare che non 

vi siano state delle perdite.

-   Controllare che l’apparecchiatura fornita corrisponda all’ordine e alla 

bolla di consegna

Identificazione del prodotto

I prodotti Aermec sono identificabili dalla 

etichetta imballo

 che riporta i 

dati identifictivi del prodotto, e dalla 

targhetta tecnica

 che riporta i dati 

tecnici prestazionali e identificativi dell’unità in vostro possesso.

Se il prodotto è danneggiato, occorre inviare una lettera raccomandata 

con i dettagli del problema alla società di spedizione entro 48 ore 

lavorative dalla consegna.

SOLLEVAMENTO

 

Le unità vengono fornite su di un pallet, per il sollevamento usare 

cinghie

adatte e affinché la struttura non venga danneggiata frapporre delle

protezioni tra le cinghie (o funi, catene) e la carpenteria.

Qualora si volesse sollevare con il muletto si raccomanda di aprire le 

forche

il più possibile per rendere sicura la movimentazione

• Seguire tutti i regolamenti e le normative di sicurezza

• Indossare occhiali protettivi e guanti da lavoro

• Fare molta attenzione alle attrezzature pesanti e voluminose durante le

operazioni di sollevamento e di movimentazione, e durante l’appoggio

a terra.

• Tutti i pannelli devono essere saldamente fissati prima di movimentare

l’unità

• Prima del sollevamento, verificare il peso specifico nella targhetta

tecnica.

• Utilizzare tutti, e solo, i punti di sollevamento indicati;

• Utilizzare funi a norma e di pari lunghezza

• Movimentare l’unità con cautela e senza movimenti bruschi

• Non sostare sotto l’unità durante il sollevamento

• È d’obbligo tenere sempre la macchina in posizione verticale

16.1.  LIFTING AND HANDLING

ATTENTION

The unit comes fixed on a pallet. 

Use forklifts for handling 

Before proceeding with the installation of the equipment agree the 

location with the client, taking into account the following points:

• 

The base must be able to support the weight of the unit.

• 

The safe distances between the unit and other equipment or 

structures must be strictly respected to ensure the intake and outlet 

air is free to circulate.

• 

The equipment must be installed by a competent and qualified 

technician, in compliance with the applicable national legislation 

of the country of destination, respecting the required minimum 

maintenance access spaces.

Before lifting the unit verify the lifting capability of the equipment being 

used, taking into account the information provided with the packaging. 

• 

To move units ANL use forklifts or similar in the most 

appropriate manner taking into account the weight distribution 

of the unit.

Position the unit in the place indicated by the client, inserting between 

the unit's base and the base support a rubber pad (minimum 10 mm 

thick) or feet anti-vibration mounts (ACCESSORY). For further information 

refer to the dimensional tables. 

Secure the unit and ensure it is level; check that sufficient access is 

provided for hydraulic and electrical connections.  

In the case of installation where gusts of wind may occur adequately 

secure the unit using appropriate ties.
