LAN connection
The RJ45 terminal board on the AERWEB300 can be
used for the following purposes:
• Direct connection from the PC to the AERWEB300;
• Connection from the AERWEB300 to the company
intranet network;
• Connection of the AerWeb300 to a router for access
via an internet browser.
A crossover network cable is required for the fi rst
example and this is supplied in the package; the other
two examples require a normal cable (not supplied).
LAN connection terminal =
Connection to the local network must be set up by qualifi ed personnel and/or the network administrator, since certain settings
regarding IP address allocation and use of the router require particular rights. Details are found in the user manual.
USB Connection
The USB connection found next to the LAN connection
is used to connect the following:
• A system printer with a USB input;
• A USB stick used to save and download saved data.

GPRS antenna connection
Models with an integrated GPRS modem (AERWEB300-
6G / 18G) have a connection for the antenna, which is to
be used for remote connection with the AERWEB300,
if a LAN connection is not possible.
The 2.5 m compact and wire antennas are both
supplied. The latter is used for installations that require
the AERWEB300 to be placed inside the electric box
of the machine that is to be controlled, hence diffi culty
in the GPRS signal reaching it: therefore, the antenna
must be placed outside the electric box to guarantee
reception. The compact antenna is suffi cient when
AerWeb300 is placed or installed where it is visible.
