Commissioning

The air dehumidifier must have been properly installed and connected (refer to chapter
4, from page 9) before it can be commissioned.

Before commissioning the air dehumidifier allow it to rest in its final
position for about 15 minutes after transport. During this time, the oil
distributed in the cooling system and churned up by transport will flow
back to the compressor. This procedure will extend the service life of the
compressor.

1.

Connect the power cable to the power outlet.

2.

Make sure that the drain hose has been fitted correctly and is laid into the drain.

3.

Use the on/off button to switch the air dehumidifier on. If the air dehumidifier has
been correctly connected and the existing humidity is higher than the set humidity
value, the air dehumidifier will start to work. The last values for hygrostat, language
and fan step are taken over, where applicable.

Operator control

Use the arrow keys for lowering or increasing the room humidity to set the requested
humidity.
If the existing humidity is higher than the set value, the air dehumidifier will start to
work. If the existing humidity is lower than the set value the air dehumidifier will not
start to work.
During operation condensate is produced. This can be passed directly to an outlet by
the condensate drain hose.
Automatic defrosting:
During dehumidification ice may build up on the evaporator. The volume of ice depends
on the ambient conditions in the room.
The air dehumidifiers AD810-P is equipped with an automatic hot-gas defrosting
system. If the evaporator ices, the unit will defrost automatically. After defrosting the air
dehumidifier resumes work in the standard dehumidification mode.
